Real Madrid lured Koentrau

“Real” continued its summer transfer campaign by the acquisition of “Benfica” Fábio Koentrau the 23-year-old Portugal left-back player.
Portugal left-back Fábio Koentrau has become the fifth rookie of “Real” in this off-season. Madrid paid for the footballer 30 million Euros.

On Tuesday evening, ex-player of “Benfica” successfully passed medical examination in the Madrid team, which signed a contract for six years. Before the Portuguese, “Real” stepped Rafael Varan, Hamit Altintop, Nuri Sahin and Jose Callejon.

Koentrau moved to the “Benfica” in 2007 from “Rio Ave”, but not immediately made himself at home in Lisbon.
