Manchester United acquired Jones

The defender Phil Jones, who now stands for England in European Championship among youth, moved from Blackburn to Manchester United for 18.7 million Euros.
The defender of the youth of England left Blackburn Rovers and signed a contract for five years with Manchester United.
According to unofficial information, the transfer cost 18.7 million Euros for Red Devils. The club statement says: “Manchester United is pleased to announce that it has signed with Blackburn contract to move Phil Jones. Last week, the player passed a medical examination at Manchester United and agreed on a five-year contract. The transaction will be completed when the player returns from the national team.”
Now Jones performs at the European championship among youth in Denmark with his new team-mates Tom Cleverley, Chris Smalling and Daniel Welbeck. Englishmen began performances on Sunday, having played a draw with Spain – 1:1.
Graduate of junior academy Blackburn made his debut for “vagrants” in September 2009 and spent most of his 40 matches in the Premier League. The deal with Manchester United, according to Blackburn, may be the biggest in club’s history. Jones also is able to close out a position in the midfield. Last season, Manchester United lost to Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League final, but the new campaign will again play in the group stage.
